STARBUCKS Moleskine 2016 planner

Guzzle up, Starbucks lovers. They’re rolling out not just Moleskine planners for the

holidays, but also beautiful Anna Sui tumblers and Swarovski-studded Starbucks cards. There’s also the Christmas drinks, Belgian chocolate cake, even a Birthday Cake to make the ’ber months even sweeter.

Inquirer Super lists giftable and edible holiday items for your 12 days of Christmas, Starbucks-style:

1 Starbucks 2016 Moleskine planners. Collectors have been waiting for the Starbucks Moleskine collaboration to land in Manila, since these have been sold in Singapore for some years now.

The Italian brand Moleskine is known for classic planners with impeccable paper quality, and planner fanatics know the drill: Collect 18 stickers by purchasing nine holiday drinks and nine drinks off the regular menu, and trade it for a planner until Jan. 7, 2016.

“Planner season” officially started on Nov. 2, and according to Starbucks marketing head Keith Cole, a number of people have completed the planner bingo and redeemed their planners as early as day one.

“Starbucks planners go well with coffee time, when people take a break to scribble and organize stuff,” Cole explains over coffee at Starbucks Jupiter in Makati. At 9 a.m., the place is bustling with people sipping their lattes in red Christmas cups as festive carols play.

The Starbucks Moleskine planners come in four styles: slim notebook-size in green cover with white garter, and white cover with green garter; and the smaller, thicker daily planner in red cover with gold garter, and black cover with green garter.

All the planners come with 12 Starbucks discount coupons, one for each month.

And in keeping with the Christmas spirit, part of the proceeds from the planners will benefit the Philippine Educational Theater Association and Teach for the Philippines organization.

2 Anna Sui + Starbucks merch. The limited-edition collection consists of tumblers, totes and a Starbucks Card with vintage-romantic Anna Sui design.

The rococo-style Rose Stripe Double Wall Mug features black-and-white stripes and red roses, while the Boutique Double Wall Mug features Anna Sui’s Marie Antoinette-inspired design.

The predominantly purple graphic totes are practical and pretty, while the Anna Sui Starbucks card features the designer’s iconic New York boutique.

3 Starbucks x Swarovski Mini Card—This special card dazzles with Swarovski crystals, and can be used by tapping instead of swiping, so you don’t have to worry about losing any precious crystal. It can be had by loading P2,500, and is perfect for people who love bling.

4 Starbucks Philippines 18th Anniversary Card. The card features a chalkboard scribbled with Pinoy greetings such as “magandang araw,” “maayong adlaw,” “mayap a aldo queca”—a way to thank Starbucks fans from all over the Philippines. It is available starting Dec. 4, by loading P300.

5 Christmas Panettone Latte. A new Christmas drink inspired by the Italian bread panettone. It has a subtle bread and butter flavor, which complements the toasty espresso and creamy steamed milk. The drink can be had as  iced coffee or frappe with whipped cream and dried fruits.

6 The rich cakes. The Dark Belgian Chocolate Cake has smooth Belgian chocolate, mousse, meringue and a dusting of gold powder, while the Birthday Cake is a sprinkle-topped moist vanilla cake with cream cheese frosting that lets you celebrate your birthday any day.

7 Boxed Biscotti Collection. A set of three almond biscotti and three chocolate chunk biscotti in a reusable bronze box. Dunk the biscotti in coffee or milk for a crunchy sweet snack.

8 Savory snacks to go with your frappe. The Italian Cheese Pocket is loaded with cheese, pepperoni, sausage and tomatoes, while the Roasted Chicken and Turkey Wrap is a meaty tortilla with roasted veggies and cranberry-garlic dressing.

9 Meatless pastas. Penne Al Formaggio combines cheddar, parmesan and mozzarella cheeses into a creamy sauce, while the Spinach Lasagna has a tomato-spinach filling, both great paired with a fruity iced tea.

10 Origami Christmas Blend. We love this origami coffee that folds out into a nifty paper drip that gives us a fresh brew just by pouring hot water over it.

11 Packed whole-bean Christmas coffee. Make great coffee at home with the spicy-sweet Christmas Blend, the light and woody Christmas Blonde Roast  and the dark Christmas Espresso Roast.

12 Christmas ornaments. Miniature white and gold Starbucks cups as tree hangers, holiday mugs, plus Christmas Bearistas stuffed bears that add a cute touch to your Christmas decor.
