Unless you are diligent in scouring outlets across the US, you won’t save money by buying Pandora online and coursing it through a friend who is returning to Manila. In fact, you’ll probably end up paying more, if you factor in fluctuating exchange rates and sales tax.
We know, because we’ve tried. The only upside to buying online is snapping up country exclusive charms or the Disney collection.
Pandora has had a continuous collaboration with the whimsical Disney cast of characters, and the brand’s unique flourishes and beautiful craftsmanship have made many a Disney fan’s heart flutter (and their wallets quiver).
For this year’s winter collection, for example, Pandora pays homage to Aladdin’s Jasmine, releasing an enameled charm of her dress, along with glass beads and pavé charms in a soft teal to match her dress.
Here in the Philippines, we haven’t seen Jasmine yet, but now you can get your hands on matching Mickey and Minnie crystal-encrusted charms (the details are amazing), Mickey and Minnie pavé clips, Winnie the Pooh, Frozen charms (Anna’s and Elsa’s dresses), and our favorite, the heart-shaped Disney safety chain, featuring a crystal outline of Mickey on one side and Minnie on the other.
The Disney collection arrives just in time for the holidays; it’s the perfect gift to give to the Pandora/Disney fan.
Pandora boutiques are located at Century City Mall, Shangri-La Plaza Mall, Glorietta, SM Mega Fashion Hall, Bonifacio High Street, Greenbelt and Newport Mall.
