Multiple-intelligence school holds bazaar for youth entrepreneurship

With a learning approach steeped in the multiple intelligence framework implemented in the US and other countries, Multiple Intelligence International School (MIIS) is the only international school in the country with a progressive youth entrepreneurship program that encourages students to use their intelligences to make a difference for others and for the environment.

A centerpiece of the MIIS Youth Entrepreneurship Program is the Kids Can! Be Entrepreneurs Movement, which instills the importance of effecting positive change and using entrepreneurial skills to support a cause.

Under the Kids Can! Be Entrepreneurs Movement, MIIS holds an annual kids’ bazaar called Kids Can! Bazaar #4GreenPH which sells items and products that are planned, designed and made by the students themselves.

Its latest incarnation will take place at the Christmas Carnival, the biggest outdoor bazaar in Makati, to be held Nov. 29, 1-5 p.m. at the Globe Circuit events ground.

Items ranging from Christmas giveaways to products made out of muslin cloth or katsa and other eco-friendly materials will be sold.
