The holidays are always a reason for people to come together, celebrating the spirit of togetherness. Thanksgiving, being a big reason to celebrate, became more special for us as we were given the chance to spend two nights in Cebu for the opening of the latest H&M (Hennes & Mauritz) branch.
Expanding quickly in the Philippines, H&M opened Nov. 25 its biggest branch in the country to date, at 3,800 square meters, at Ayala Center. An H&M Cebu VIP night was held, with over 1,000 guests from Cebu chic society, and from Manila.
The celebration included a private shopping night for guests who enjoyed a 20-percent store-wide discount. With the good conversation, delectable food and drinks, and live music, the guests enjoyed an evening that was beyond eventful.
DJ Divine and DJ Tom Taus were on deck at the H&M DJ booth on the first floor. On the second floor, musical collaborations took place between Techy Romantics and Mars Miranda, as well as Pupil (Ely Buendia) and Domino (Lally Buendia).
The store opened to the public the next day. Three floors were full of fashion for men, women and kids, as well as H&M’s complete Home section. This branch’s opening in Cebu is more than perfect for the coming holidays.
H&M Cebu is open 10 a.m.-9 p.m. on weekdays and 10 a.m.-10 p.m. on weekends.
The store will continue its garment collecting initiative, where customers can donate their used clothes and get a discount voucher to use for their next purchase at H&M.
