After a decade long drought, FEU wins UAAP Season 78

THE FAR Eastern University (FEU) Tamaraws men’s basketball team didn’t just make headlines when it beat the University of Santo Tomas (UST) Growling Tigers, 67-62, in Game 3 of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) Season 78 finals at SM Mall of Asia Arena last Wednesday. The squad also made history by ending a 10-year drought.

The victory was a sweet recovery from the heartbreak of losing to Season 77 champion National University (NU) Bulldogs in a best-of-three finals.

Playing his last game for FEU, Mac Belo was fittingly named Finals MVP.
