Christmas centerpiece to jump-start celebration

Christmas is fast approaching and we need quick but easy decorating ideas, with a big impact. Here’s a centerpiece to jump-start the Christmas celebration and make your table festive and ready to impress family and friends.

 

Materials: glass container (from Landmark), dry foam (from Anding’s), artificial moss (from Landmark), pliers and a cutter (from True Value)

 

Directions: Use the artificial moss to line the glass container around the sides so it covers the dry foam. Trim the dry foam to the desired size, insert between the moss and make sure it’s tightly placed.

Materials: Assorted pine sprays, berry clusters, silk hydrangeas (from Landmark) velvet poinsettias (from Rustan’s), pine cones (from True Value)

 

Direction: Start by putting the pine sprays as a base for the flowers, pine cones and berries. Make sure to bend the sprays outward to create a lush and natural effect.

Directions:

Using a glue gun, apply enough glue on the tips of the stems so when you insert the flowers, pine sprays, berries and pine cones they will stay on the foam.

Arrange flowers, berries and pine cones in an alternate fashion creating symmetry and balance.
