Jazz up your crib in time for the holiday festivities as LRI Design Plaza, the hub for home decor and accessories, furniture, lighting fixtures, art and antiques in Makati, extends its annual holiday sale to Dec. 21.
Get up to 70-percent off on selected items – a good number of them located on the second floor’s Big Room Sale. Or, take a leisurely stroll inside the three-story plaza and discover discounted unique pieces. An eight-seater solid mahogany dining table, for example, now fetches for only P56,000, or P14,000-off its original price; across it, from another shop, a solid acacia table selling for 25-percent off.
At Tony Lo’s Oldwood Artworks there’s a lovely long bench made of old wood. Propped up on the bench is a Kenwood audio system, and behind it a tower, also made of old wood, designed to enhance the acoustics.
Meanwhile, Toni Lo’s Luzon Rattan Industries on the first floor, a furniture and home accessories shop specializing in rattan, is nearly empty. Ninety percent of its items on sale has already been sold out. The store manager has been happily busy replenishing the sale supplies.
At the entrance is Triboa Bay Living, a furniture and lighting shop that highlights the raw finishes of wood. One of LRI’s bestselling brands, Triboa Bay is not participating in the annual sale but its products, locally made except for the porcelain pieces from France and other items from India, are worth the visit.
For space solutions for home and office, there’s Open House on the third floor. It offers a variety of services, from customized walk-in closet compartments to designer furniture to table setting ideas and accessories.
There are antique and curio shops as well. Pnky offers antiques, silver and gold jewelry, lamps and furniture, and even Christmas decor made from natural materials. For curios – throw pillows, chairs, wooden chests, and more – check out Sifra where furniture is discounted up to 30 percent, silver up to 25 percent, gold up to 20 percent, and pretty much everything else at 25 percent off.
If you’re looking to create a more productive workspace for your office or company, visit Boogi on the third floor. The shop carries well-known and trusted European brands in furniture, furnishings and lamps. Its Cacoon, a flexible, tent-like hammock/swing chair (or whatever form you want it to be) is now at 5 percent off. Also on discount is its colorful and fashionable Sitting Bull bean bag from Germany, at 5 percent off.
