FLY ART is a series of statement shirts by young artists Gisella Velasco and Toni Potenciano for Thread 365.

 

Fly Art X Thread 365 provides “curated contrast”: Rembrandt and rap; casual and chic; Kanye and Cezanne; contemporary yet classic.

 

“We listen to a lot of rap music and note down sound bites that we think could work in a graphic context,” said Velasco and Potenciano.

 

The collection features such statements as “I Woke Up Like This,” “Diva is a Female Version of a Hustler,” “Poetic Justice” and “Lost in the World.”
