A day before the coronation night of the 2015 Miss Universe, the Philippines’ bet Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach looked back at her journey and urged her supporters to never give up on their dreams.
“I can’t believe it. I started training November 2012 and now it’s December 2015. It took so long for me to earn this sash with (three) attempts in Miss Philippines. It was quite a journey and tomorrow it all ends on this one big night,” Wurtzbach said in an Instagram post on Sunday.
It can be recalled that before winning the Miss Philippines-Universe crown earlier this year, Wurtzbach had joined but failed to bag a crown in the 2013 and 2014 editions of Binibining Pilipinas.

“This (representing the Philippines) may very well be the highlight of my life. Absolutely no regrets,” she said.
“Finally guys, and of course most importantly, I hope I inspired you. Never give up on your dreams and believe that dreams do come true! Walang susuko! Ang Pilipino, palaban. (Don’t give up. Filipinos are fighters),” she closed.
The 26-year-old former actress also asked Filipinos, particularly avid fans of the phenomenal love team of Alden Richards and Maine “Yaya Dub” Mendoza to help her advance to the latter stages of the pageant. Viewers can help their favorite contestants by voting for them in the Miss Universe website during the broadcast of the competition.

“May online voting po sa mismong final night. ‘Yung votes n’yo po papasok habang ako po ang naglalakad sa stage. Real time po ‘yung votes,” she explained to her supporters.
