Buy coffee, get a planner–and send a kid to school | Lifestyle.INQ

OCTOBER 27, 2022

Seattle’s Best Coffee Philippines recently unveiled four new blends for the yuletide season—Chocolate Cherry, Coffee Hazelnut, Cookies and Mint, and Coffee Cream Pie—during a special event last month to announce their partnership with World Vision.

The premium lifestyle coffee retailer and prominent children’s foundation are teaming up to celebrate the holiday season with a new promo. For every purchase of a holiday or classic drink, customers get stickers, and once they complete 18 stickers on their “dream card,” they can redeem a leather journal teeming with treats: free music, goodies, coupons, and up to 24 hours worth of free Wi-Fi at selected Seattle’s Best branches.

What’s different this year is that customers get two stickers: one for the dream card and the other for the World Vision Dream Tree found in every branch, which makes sure that for every journal redeemed, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to World Vision to help sponsor a less fortunate child so they can go to school.

At the launch last October 19 in Greenbelt 3, kids from World Vision were invited to enjoy an afternoon of carnival fun, with yummy food and drinks form Seattle’s Best, masked men on stilts, face painting, balloon-twisting, and lots of fun booths.

Celebrities like actress Denise Laurel, model Raphael Kiefer, TV personality Phoemela Baranda, and hosts Divine Lee and Victor Basa joined in on the fun, while World Vision ambassadors Marc Nelson, Tintin Babao, Cristalle Belo, and Miriam Quiambao shared personal stories about sponsoring a child.

The good news is that you can extend a helping hand even if you don’t sponsor a child (or 11 of them, just like Marc Nelson). You can just enjoy drinks from Seattle’s Best and before you know it, you have a planner for next year—and you’re helping a kid go to school. Drinking coffee’s never been this fulfilling.

You can purchase Seattle’s Best holiday drinks until Jan. 22, 2012.
