Miss Universe 2015 first runner-up Ariadna Gutierrez is asking fans to decide an important move which could possibly bring closure to a humiliating and traumatic episode in her life.
Gutierrez took to Twitter to ask her more than 114,000 followers if she should talk to comedian and television host Steve Harvey who wrongfully crowned her as the winner of the prestigious pageant.
In her poll she posted on Wednesday, she asked: “Guys, what do you think? Should I do a sit-down with @IamSteveHarvey? #AryNoCrownRequired #ArySpeaksOut”
She also posted a Spanish version of the poll. Both polls yielded a resounding “yes” from fans.
Weeks after the controversial coronation night, Gutierrez spoke about the faux pas, saying that it was a “great injustice.”

The 22-year-old beauty even lashed out against the Miss Universe Organization for disregarding her feelings during the coronation night.

“In four minutes they destroy your dreams, they throw it in a bag, and they throw it in the trash … They could have done it another way… I feel like it doesn’t matter to them the feelings of a girl who has worked her whole life for a dream,” she said in an interview on Univision last January 5.
In the same interview, Gutierrez said that she “cried a ton” after the pageant.
“I went up to my parents’ room and obviously, I was very sad, I was in bad shape, I was crying. I cried a ton that night,” she said.
On his part, Harvey claimed that he had been reaching out to the Colombian beauty queen but he said that he did not receive a response from her. AJH/IDL
