Have a talk with your guardian angel

If it is true that each person has a guardian angel from birth to death, why can’t we talk to or see them?

This is one of the questions I have often asked those who claim to be able to see and talk to their angels and spirit guides. And there are many such lucky persons, I found out.

If it’s also true that I have seven spirit guides of different nationalities, as revealed to me by three sensitive individuals independent of each other—one a British medium, another an American clairvoyant and a well-known Filipino sensitive—then how come they have never shown or revealed themselves to me?

Most spirit guides or angelic creatures do not show themselves physically. And if they  manifest themselves, they do in the most subtle and ethereal way. It is difficult to tell whether we are actually seeing or merely imagining them.

Sometimes we are only aware of their presence. They may appear as shadows or mist, at other times as beings of light. More often they may whisper words into our inner ear.

Among the more well-known personalities who have confessed to having seen and talked to their angels, as revealed by French journalist Pierre Jovanovic in his book “An Inquiry Into the Existence of Guardian Angels,” were Robert Monroe, an American engineer who became famous for his out-of-body experiences; Dr. Elizabeth Kubler-Ross, a Swiss psychiatrist famous for her studies on death and dying; and St. Ann Catherine Emmerich, a German stigmatist who moved regularly with her angels.

White tunic

St. Teresa of Avila was known to have been transfixed by an angel. Georgette Faniel, a Canadian stigmatist, saw her guardian angel wearing a white tunic but said she “cannot compare his beauty to human beauty.”

St. Gemma Galgani, an Italian saint, was accompanied by her guardian angel all her life, and John Lilly, an American biologist and psychic researcher, described him as a “being superior to us.”

Of course, there was St. Padre Pio, who could see the guardian angels of people who came to see him for confession.

Dr. James Hurtak, president of the Academy for Future Science in California, told me in 1984 that he was in contact with invisible beings whom he does not identify as angels, but as “beings of light” or “Christed beings.” They guided him in his task of helping raise humanity’s consciousness to higher levels.

The sudden appearance of a guardian angel during a crucial moment in one’s life usually results in healing. At times, such relief is not physical, but emotional and spiritual.

Robert Monroe saw his angels or spirit guides only during his out-of-body experiences or astral projections, and only after 10 years of regular trips. But what can ordinary people do to see or talk to their guardian angels?

Jovanovic said, “We understand that good communication with angel beings depends intimately on the spiritual level one has reached.”

Others opined that one must have his Third Eye or Spiritual Eye open before seeing his guardian angel. This is because you and your guardian angel must be of the same vibration or frequency.

Another sensitive individual who sees and talks to his and other people’s angels told me that all you have to do is to meditate and regularly call on your angel to be visible and, eventually, he will. That’s easier said than done; still, it is the only way we know how to see and talk to our guardian angel. “Ask and you shall receive,” said Jesus Christ. “Knock and it shall be opened unto you.”
