Pia Wurtzbach will have to put her dream of personally meeting his Korean pop idol–Siwon of Super Junior– in the back burner as she juggles her responsibilities of being the reigning Miss Universe.
In an exclusive interview with Inquirer Lifestyle on Sunday, Wurtzbach said that discharging her role as Miss Universe remains her top priority.
“I saw the post. But I am not aware of the tour dates or where they’re going to be (next). I also have my work as Miss Universe so I think that would be the priority,” the beauty queen said.
Siwon has invited Wurtzbach as his guest to watch him in one of their “Super Shows.”
“Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach :) Heartfelt Congratulations on your Miss Universe 2015 Award, and please be my guest for next SUPERSHOW! Looking forward to seeing you shining the world :^)” the 29-year-old K-pop actor said in an Instagram post last December.
In an earlier interview with the Inquirer, the 26-year-old Cagayan de Oro beauty gushed as she admitted that she is still a big fan of Siwon.
She described the K-pop actor and singer as “very cute” and “gwapo” (handsome).
“I was a big fan of Super Junior when I was younger. And I still am now.”
“He’s very cute of course. He still is, especially now. Nung nag-mature siya, sobrang gwapo,” she said.
Pia’s fans were able to retrieve the beauty queen’s tweets about Siwon which she posted in 2009 following her Miss Universe win. They have since been “shipping” the two, calling the tandem as PiaWon.
