Pia Wurtzbach wants to bring Miss USA Olivia Jordan to PH

MISS Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach said she wants to bring Miss USA Olivia Jordan to the Philippines one day to witness the Binibining Pilipinas pageant.

During a one-on-one interview with the press on Sunday at Novotel Manila, Wurtzbach said she is close to Jordan, who is her housemate during the Miss Universe pageant.

“The first person that I thought of bringing with me here was Olivia Jordan, who is my housemate. I was telling her before I flew to the Philippines, ‘I wish next time I go back, I wish you’d come with me, maybe for the coronation of the Bb. Pilipinas,'” Wurtzbach told INQUIRER.net.

“That would be fun, if she could home here and visit what it’s like, what Miss Universe is like. She’s well-loved here in the Philippines, anyway,” she added.

Jordan, who is the second runner-up in the Miss Universe 2015 pageant, was the first to tell Wurtzbach when Steve Harvey made the mix-up of announcing the wrong winner: “I think you won Miss Universe.”

Asked who she should be bring here in the Philippines on official business, Wurtzbach said she does not want to choose a certain person.

“I work with everybody. That’s official business already in itself. Hindi naman kami namimili. To us, everybody is equal. You can have a high position in a company or organization or you can be a representative for a pageant, if you want to come visit the Philippines, why not?” Wurtzbach said.

Wurtzbach said she is hoping the Miss Universe Organization would hold the Miss Universe 2016 in the Philippines so that her countrymen can  witness the moment when she will pass on the gem-studded crown after her reign.

“I want to pass my crown here in my home. That would be nice right? Para maramdaman talaga ng mga tao kung gaano ka-big deal sa atin yung Miss Universe. (So that people would understand why Miss Universe is a big deal for us.) That would be great,” Wurtzbach said.
