Singapore Airlines (SIA) is kicking off a year-long celebration of its 50th anniversary in the Philippines with a series of exciting announcements including the first ever Premium Economy Class showcase.

SIA Philippines general manager Carol Ong called the new offers “the largest travel sale for our Filipino customers.”

Ong said the Premium Economy Class rates will be offered in flights to Europe and the US starting from US$1,850: Auckland from $1,800; Sydney from $1,350, and Delhi and Mumbai from $1,200.

The Premium Economy Class rates are available for all SIA destinations with a baggage allowance of 35 kilos. Passengers can pre-order their meals online via SIA’s Book-The-Cook program.

SIA also announced in a news conference that beginning July 21, Dusseldorf, Germany; Canberra, Australia; and Wellington, New Zealand, will be added to its network of destinations.

Flights will be offered three times a week with the all-new Airbus A350-900, which has been fitted with the airlines’ latest cabin products.

SIA KrisFlyer members, BPI credit-card holders, Globe Platinum customers and Glorietta and Ayala Center Cebu shoppers will have a zero-interest option for up to six months under the BPI Special Installment Plan.
