300 shows, 3,000 artists–it’s CCP’s open-house Pasinaya tomorrow


“The largest multi-arts festival in the country” unreels tomorrow, Feb. 7, with the 12th Pasinaya: CCP Open House Festival, to be held in various venues at the Cultural Center of the Philippines.

Pasinaya, CCP’s annual arts event, features more than 300 shows in music, theater, dance, visual arts, film and literature. Viewers can choose from over 3,000 artists, all performing along the art and culture mile between CCP Complex and Intramuros. This year’s theme is “Family and Children.”

Pasinaya will also feature previews of upcoming productions from CCP’s resident companies as well as an arts market, trade and fair exhibits, free visits to museums in Manila, film showings, food booths and performances by Asean and Filipino artists.

CCP’s partners in this event are the City of Manila, the Intramuros Administration and the Department of Tourism.
