It is a taste of what is yet to come, a peek into what can be expected, and perhaps, even a glimpse of a coveted lifestyle for the future.

Indeed, a real estate developer’s showroom does more than just provide a physical display of the units being put up for sale or lease. These intricately designed showrooms often serve as a testament to the company’s commitment to deliver the highest quality in its projects, and at the same time, provide prospective homebuyers a preview of the living experience they can look forward to from their chosen developer.

This is why many developers would go to great lengths in creating their own showrooms, such as acquiring the services of the most renowned designers to spruce up these display units to become “inspirations” that will help future homeowners plan and design their own homes.

Quality showroom

One company who believes in the value of delivering quality showrooms to their homebuyers is Empire East, proof of which is the recent opening of one of its development showrooms along Edsa cor. Pioneer in Mandaluyong City.

“The launch of the Pioneer Woodlands showroom connects motorists and frequent city travelers to Empire East’s innovative residential community, the Pioneer Woodlands. The showroom’s convenient location along Edsa corner Pioneer St. in Mandaluyong City makes it more accessible for aspiring homeowners and investors to inquire,” explained Empire East president and CEO Atty. Anthony Charlemagne C. Yu. “The showroom’s direct connection to the MRT enables commuters to easily drop by any time as they please—within the showroom’s schedule of course which is from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily. The showroom serves as an information center where Empire East’s roster of credible agents is queued to readily answer questions from guests and walk-ins,” Yu further said.

Transit-oriented developments

According to Yu, the opening of the Pioneer Woodlands showroom was important in the company’s goal of attracting more clients, and for demonstrating its flagship concept of transit-oriented developments. These projects refer to homes or residential condominiums that are strategically located within the most accessible addresses in Metro Manila, and which have direct access to mass transit systems, thus giving a premium on mobility.

An example of such development is the Pioneer Woodlands, which provides the best value for money as its main features are accessibility, mobility, exclusivity, relaxation, and payment flexibility, all while providing residents with that ideal urban lifestyle.

The recently opened Pioneer Woodlands showroom provides a modern yet welcoming vibe through a mixture of sleek lines in the accent wood slat treatments, and furniture pieces, which add balance to the cement, textured walls. Accents of earthy greens add life to the muted color scheme and sets up a homey yet sophisticated space. A scale model, featuring the whole site of the six-tower development, is also on display for an easier visualization of each tower’s orientation.

According to Yu, the showroom has an AV Room where the different unit options can be presented to buyers; a negotiation area where buyers and agents can comfortably discuss; and a display of two fully furnished model units—one executive studio and a one bedroom suite.

Showroom designs

“The model units presented different themes to allow the clients to experience diverse design possibilities. We would however like to remind buyers that each unit shall be turned over to them as ‘standard-finished’ which means that units will come only with the basic fixtures,” Yu said.

3One of the designs being showcased at the showroom was the “Classic Nautical” for the studio model unit. For this design, the oak wood-veneered walls served as a canvass for distressed finished wood items, and assorted beach accessories in blues and whites. Simple furniture pieces and accessories with rope details added texture and warmth in the space, while the white glazed subway tiles also provided a subtle nautical detail to the navy-colored kitchen cabinets.

4The “Simple Scandinavian” design for a one-bedroom unit meanwhile highlights clean simple lines and earthy muted tones. Soft materials such as textured throw pillows and rugs give balance to the simple and sleek furniture pieces, while the white walls combined with cool grey textiles and natural finished beech wood add texture to create that relaxed and an understated elegance.

“The units are designed to appeal to young urban professionals and to students who have eventful, driven lifestyles. It is also for the travelers since living along Edsa connects each to the city’s main transportation hubs that can swiftly take them to the pristine beaches in Luzon and to exciting activities within Metro Manila,” Yu shared.

Pioneer Woodlands, it should be noted, is the only development to date to directly partner with the Mandaluyong City government and the MRT for a direct connection at the Boni station along Edsa. This direct link has made accessibility to vital hubs in Metro Manila a breeze for future residents. “The joy and convenience of being home as soon as one hops off the bus or train is an experience that only Pioneer Woodlands homeowners share.

All the malls, schools and hospitals in the city are all reachable within 15-20 minutes. Yet, when dwellers enter the 6-tower community, all the city noise instantly fades into the background—creating a sanctuary that is serene and comfortable. After all, the residential towers begin only at the 6th level—so the busyness of the highway is left at the ground floor,” Yu claimed.

“Living at Pioner Woodlands means attracting life’s best things with more options than one. It means giving importance to one’s time by connecting with friends and loved ones easily and by promoting priorities, work-life balance and growth,” he concluded. ADVT.
