‘50 Shades’ parody
IT DOESN’T matter if you loved or loved to make fun of E.L. James’ bestseller; you will enjoy “50 Shades: The Musical Parody,” which runs at the RCBC Theater. The show, described as “crazy, racy and hilarious,” can also be your smooth segue to discussing with your date any Christian Grey or Anastasia Steele fantasies you might have.
Tickets available at SM Tickets, Ticketworld and Ticketnet outlets. Visit www.50shadesmanila.com or call tel. no. 4706956.
‘Deadpool’ date night
What? A superhero movie on Valentine’s Day? Trust us, you won’t regret it. Besides, Deadpool is right—it’s not just a superhero movie, it’s a love story. It’s like some of our previous relationships—funny, dirty, bloody and strangely sweet.

Get inked
The couple that gets tattooed together stays… tattooed. If you’ve always wanted to get inked, why not go for it? But please don’t get tattoos of each other’s faces. We at Super go to Wiji Lacsamana—we love her watercolor tattoos. (Visit wiji.squarespace.com;

Scream for ‘hugot’ ice cream
Master sorbetero Ian Carandang’s Valentine’s concoctions are something we look forward to year after year.
This year, the following hugot flavors are available: Matinong Girlfriend (dark chocolate ice cream, chocolate-covered chicharon, roasted cocoa nib), Matinong Boyfriend (Dulce De Leche ice cream, strawberry sorbet), Closure (Earl Grey tea ice cream, bergamot, orange, lemon), Unresolved Issues (ampalaya sorbet, canned ampalaya, your tears).
Why not skip dinner and try all four flavors instead? (But it may not be the time to bring up any unresolved issues.)
You can find Sebastian’s at The Podium, SM Mall of Asia, and Regis Center Katipunan Ave.

Play board games
Board game cafés are hot right now and for good reason—they’re a great way to spend the day, and they force you to put your phones down so you can focus on winning.
Here are just a few places you might want to check out: Ludo in Boardgame Bar and Café in Tomas Morato, Quezon City, and Jupiter, Makati; and Dyce N Dine in Kapitolyo, Pasig; Puzzles: Board Game Lounge in BGC and Aguirre St.; Laruan Atbp. Café in Maginhawa.
Choose a café, choose a game (or two), order some snacks, start playing and, remember, bawal ang pikon.
