Every time we go to Hole In The Wall at Century City Mall, we know exactly what to order.
Cheeseburger and fries from The Beef, bacon kettle corn from Mr. Delicious and chocolate chip cookies with potato chips and pretzels on top from Scout’s Honor.
But we expect to be very confused on February 21 and 28. Because our favorite Bun Appetit will be invading Hole In The Wall for a pop-up.
“We’re working closely with Charlie and his team from The Tasteless Restaurant Group,” said Bun Appetit’s Lawrence Cua. “We will be serving the usual suspects: lobster, crab and shrimp rolls as well as our garlic noodles, Mexican grilled corn and crab cocktail claws. Prices will be slightly higher to take care of the conveniences available at Hole in the Wall.”
They will also be introducing a new product: Maine lobster tails on a stick. “It’s steamed in beer to add more flavor and served with lemon butter sauce,” said Lawrence’s wife Iya Jimenez.
The lobster tails will be exclusively be available at the pop-up. “It all goes well, we might add it to our regular menu,” said Lawrence.
Bun Appetit is also at Salcedo Market every Saturday. But if you aren’t a morning person and can’t get up early enough to make it to the market, this pop-up is your chance do get your dose of lobster.
