We’re pretty sure that even Jesus wept upon hearing Kanye’s epic backstage rant before performing on Saturday Night Live.

But you know who was the very picture of professionalism backstage? Lady Gaga.

When designer Marc Jacobs booked her as a model for his fall/winter 2016 show yesterday at New York Fashion Week, she downplayed her superstar status by insisting on being treated like the rest of his models backstage.

WWD reports, “A polished blonde Gaga, clad in a long black gown, arrived at the Park Avenue Armory in Manhattan at 3:30 p.m. She insisted on being treated like all the other models—even checking in at the model table sans a large entourage and having her hair and makeup done in the same room every other model was being prepped in.”

As the fashion weekly predicted, her appearance on the catwalk instantly went viral, almost relegating Kendall Jenner’s runway participation to mere footnote status in the grand scheme of social media coverage.

Basically, Mother Monster showed everybody that you don’t have to be the center of attention all the time to stay relevant in the news. So what if all people wanted to talk about after the Super Bowl were Beyoncé and Bruno Mars? Everybody remembered her flawless rendition of The Star-Spangled Banner. David Bowie’s son wasn’t cool with her tribute to this father at the Grammys? No comment—she’s clearly moved on, brah.

I'm a model, you know what I mean..
