Forbes Academy opens to senior high | Lifestyle.INQ

Forbes Academy in Legazpi City is accepting applicants this April for senior high school (SHS) students for 2016-2017.

Students may visit its main campus on Lakandula Drive, Legazpi City, and extension campus on Elizondo corner Rizal Streets, Legazpi City, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., for free orientation and career guidance to determine their interests, talents and skills.

Forbes Academy is a member of Forbes Education Group composed of the Center for Global Best Practices (CGBP), the authority in the best practices in Philippine education and the leader in training executives, professionals, and decision-makers in business and public organizations; Forbes College, an IT-based higher education institution which provides practical and affordable education with blended learning approach combining the use of new technologies, practical applications; and the Aquende Scholarship Foundation, an organization that seeks to uplift the lives of the Albayanos through community service, scholarships and community service.

Labs kita, Sabado!

Four Pinoy bands—Cujo, Red Light, The Lane Band and Psyko Barn—will be featured in “Labs kita, Sabado!” this Saturday, April 23, 5 p.m. at Rizal Park Open-Air Auditorium, Manila.

The program titled “Tunog Alternatibo” is in partnership with Orpheus and Miyaw Productions. Pia Marie Paulican hosts the show from a script by Gie V. Arnold. Admission is free.

“Labs kita, Sabado!” is a regular weekly public service project of the National Parks Development Commitee, under executive director Elizabeth Espino and the Department of Tourism.

This Saturday’s program features mainly OPM, rock music, contemporary ballet and modern dances.

Cujo is made up of Jason, Pet, Tyts, Spine, AMP and Dupa. It is a grunge band formed in 2010 in Tarlac City. Layne, Carlo and Nate comprise The Lane Band, formed five years ago. Red Light is a five-man band composed of Geof, Jha, Joko, Ram and Acong.
