From heartbreak to heart-busting victory

AFTER two consecutive seasons of heartbreak, the De La Salle University Lady Spikers emerged victorious over fiercest rival Ateneo de Manila University Lady Eagles in a thrilling Game 3 championship last April 30 at Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Alyssa Valdez’s astonishing 31 points were not enough to lead the Ateneo to a third consecutive championship.

Kim Dy was awarded Finals MVP for garnering 17 points, including 16 kills and the sweet championship point.
After the heartbreak came the heart-busting victory.
