Let your next party table reflect your individual style and personality by creating these vintage china-cover place card-holders. It’s a touch that will make your guests feel even more special for being invited!
You will need:
Covers from teapots, sugar pots or small tureens
Craft wire (available in craft stores or bookstores)
Small pliers to cut wire
Place cards
1. Cut a length of wire enough to double and wind around the bottom of the cover handle.
2. After winding it a few times around the handle base, wind the remaining length into circles, about the diameter of your ring finger, or 1/2 inch. This is what will hold up your place card.
Tip:
These make great photograph holders or food label holders if you have a small table for cheeses or finger food.
