The Peninsula Manila, with Bulgari, Philippine Tatler Weddings and Inquirer Lifestyle LOOK Book, presents “Weddings at The Peninsula 2016: Happily Ever After, a 40-year-old Tradition” on June 11.

The whole-day wedding fair will showcase select bridal jewelry from Bulgari, lifestyle settings curated by society style arbiters Stephanie Zubiri-Crespi, Stephanie Kienle Gonzalez and Irene Martel Francisco, and a bespoke DIY flower-arranging session with The Peninsula Manila creative director Anna Fay.

Inquirer Lifestyle and Hinge Inquirer’s LOOK beauty and bridal book/magazine will also stage an exhibit of the wedding ensembles of nine designers and the wedding gown of Happy Skin founder and  fashion icon Rissa Mananquil when she married Paolo Trillo at the  Peninsula.

The designers are Lesley Mobo, Randy Ortiz, Mike de la Rosa, Rhett Eala, Joey Samson, Jun Escario, Maureen Disini, Michael Leyva and Pablo Cabahug.

Also participating are Rustan’s and Beauty Source, which will give perks to guests.

For the past four decades, a wedding at The Peninsula Manila has meant simplicity in planning, but with strict attention to detail and elegance.

Some couples want a grandiose, fairytale wedding; others wish for an intimate setting for only the bride and groom. For both ends of the spectrum—and everything in between—The Peninsula makes an ideal setting for a most romantic day.

“We are very proud of the reputation we have built as an exceptional wedding venue all these years, most especially this year when we are celebrating our 40th anniversary,” says Mark Choon, The Peninsula Manila general manager.
“We probably have the most beautiful wedding fair in the Philippines, so if you are planning a wedding, this will be the perfect time and place for discovering inspirational subjects, creative designs and presentations.”

“Weddings at The Peninsula 2016: Happily Ever After, a 40-year-old Tradition” is on June 11, 10 a.m.-6 p.m., at the Rigodon Ballroom. Entrance is free.
