PET EXPRESS Doggie Run 2016 was held recently at SM Mall of Asia.

 

Now on its sixth year, the annual fun run event benefitted the Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS), a nonprofit organization dedicated to the protection of animals and the promotion of their humane treatment.

 

Actor and dog lover Gerald Anderson, founder of the Gerald Anderson Foundation, joined the run with his buddy Hercules. He also encouraged runners to join him in his advocacy—to train dogs for search and rescue operations and to assist in the recovery of missing persons during times of calamity.
