Last year, Rob Lowe made sure that men like himself looked their very best with his skincare line and grooming company, Profile 4 Men. Now, the actor is releasing his own fragrance this month.
In an interview with WWD, he reveals that his debut men’s scent, 18 Amber Wood, will be “bold, distinctive, and yet, subtle,” which is reminiscent of his red carpet looks.
“For me, I always wear one of two things: bold and distinctive for red carpets, event evenings. and then something that’s more of an every day. We’ve begun with the former,” he says. “Sometimes, some things come out better than you could have imagined, and this is one of those times.”
The fragrance will make its official debut on Nordstrom’s website sometime today, and will be sold in Nordstrom stores for $89.50 starting March 18.
While we still have a few hours until we see what it actually looks like, WWD reports that it will come in “a midnight-blue bottle” and “has top notes of Sicilian bergamot, pink pepper and crisp fig leaves; a heart of spicy blue sage, lavender and cardamom seeds, and a base of sandalwood, sequoia bark and red Colorado cedar.”
Meanwhile, Rob also revealed that he’s already working on his second scent which he describes as “the easy-breezy type of scent, fresh and clean,” and will be released during the fall season. Although it’s still unnamed, he says that all of his future fragrances will also contain numbers in them—like a stream of Adele albums.
There’s no news on whether he plans on creating a line for the ladies, but considering his past cosmetic projects, it seems unlikely. But hey, it doesn’t hurt to wish for it.
