The Philippine Center for Diabetes Education Foundation (Diabetes Center Philippines) will hold Beat Diabetes with a Knockout Punch, an information campaign set on July 24 at Festival Mall Alabang’s 2/L Carousel Court.

 

There will be free diabetes screening for mall-goers from 8 to 10 a.m.; as well as free consultations with endocrinologists and workout sessions at 10:15 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

 

There will also be talks and demos on diabetes facts, exercise, diet and medication from endocrinologists and other experts in the field of diabetes care and prevention.

 

 Rotary graduates

 

The Rotary Center for Housekeeping 1st Commencement Ceremony was held May 31, and 15 students, among them eight deaf students, two students with autism, one student with intellectual disability, three mothers of PWDs, and a Rotarian, were lauded for achieving a 100-percent passing rate in the National Assessment by Tesda.
