Although there’s no denying that skinny jeans are still in vogue (but not the assorted colors that plagued store shelves and racks), the rainy season requires a less constricting silhouette.
But the trick to looking chic instead of lazy consists of careful pairing and layering—also very convenient considering the weather.
Opt for ribbed knits or a soft chambray in different shades to avoid looking slouchy, and pair with sneakers in a similar shade (drop the basic white sneakers to avoid looking, well, basic).
This look can be worn when attending meetings or even when doing errands. Later on, slip into heels and you’re ready for a night out.
