The 2nd Intercollegiate Voice Summit will have its grand homecoming at the University of the Philippines-Diliman.

The melodic spectacle, which will be headed by Dr. Ramon Acoymo, Chairperson of UP’s College of Music Department of Voice, Music Theater, and Dance, will feature 21 outstanding and prodigious vocalists from seven universities—Centro Escolar University, Sta. Isabel College, St. Paul University, the Philippine Women’s University, St. Scholastica’s College, the University of Sto. Tomas and host institution the University of the Philippines College of Music.

Participants are expected to perform hits from Opera, Sacred, and Art Song literature in a smooth blend of voices in ensemble.

Former Agriculture Assistant Secretary Nelia Gonzales, Atty. Yolanda Reyno, Anthony and Cris Nazareno, Manuel Lahoz, Josh Marquina, AKUSTIKA, and VIZCARRA Corporation and Pharmaceuticals are the main sponsors of the much-awaited event.

The first Intercollegiate Voice Summit was held 13 years ago at UP College of Music.
