The Sogetsu Ikebana Manila Branch will hold its 27th annual exhibit on Sept. 9-11 at the Atrium, G/F, Glorietta 5, Ayala Center, Makati City. Focus is on the potters’ vases. The exhibit is open and free to the public on Sept. 10-11, during mall hours.

In 2008, a group of potters lent their vases to the members of Sogetsu Ikebana, who made arrangements to enhance the one-of-a-kind vases. It was a big success, so this time the Sogetsu Ikebana members invited the group to again collaborate for this exhibit.

On Sept. 10 at 3-5 p.m., a demonstration will be given by the Manila Sogetsu teachers at the same venue, the Atrium, Glorietta 5 in Makati.

The Sogetsu Ikebana School is known to be the avant-garde school of Ikebana. They believe anyone can do Ikebana, anywhere, with anything and at any time.
