Alviera launches superhero-themed camp in Porac

Pampanga-based real estate developer Alviera is setting its gaze on channeling the inner “superhero” in everyone with the launch of Alviera Hero Camp, its newest amusement attraction in Porac, Pampanga.

Alviera Hero Camp features hero training crash courses, superhero night movies, and magnificent stargazing activities in store for children and the young at heart. Since it’s called a fun-filled playground for heroes, participants are required to put on their best superhero costumes.

“Aside from providing an ideal venue for outdoor activities with Alviera’s scenic views and terrain, we wanted people to gain something positive in dressing and changing into costume,” Jomi De Guzman, Alviera project development manager, said.

He added, “This Halloween, we’d like to inspire families, especially the kids, to live purposely the way heroes do. So, the Alviera Hero Camp concept grew from there, a camping weekend that is fun and thrilling where kids and kids at heart can discover the heroes in themselves.”

At the start of their adventure, participants will be trained under Hero Basics 101, a short survivor outdoor course led by expert adventurers and guides. To further hone their skills, participants can enroll in KAPOW! Hero Combat Training and learn self-defense moves in a tick of a clock. Then, they are expected to transform themselves into extraordinary characters at the Costume Crafting Corner, where they can customize and spruce up their own fancy superhero outfits.

Just like the company’s previous activities, visitors will also experience riding four of SandBox’s thrilling rides: Rollercoaster Zipline, Giant Swing, Aerial Walk and Adventure Tower. Lastly, participants can join other activities, including Superzoom Stargazing hosted by the Mind Museum, Monster Obstacle Course’s archery maze, superhero films, and Parade of Heroes, where they can go “trick or treat” in booths and tents.
