A few months ago, the internet became frenzied over lipsticks that came in “weird” phallic shape.

These “Mushroom” penis-shaped lipsticks have in fact been sold online since 2013, but social media users continue to be fascinated with the oddly enticing cosmetic products by Diamond Dream, an American cosmetic company. The “lipdicks” have been featured again on Buzzfeed on Thursday, with nearly 1 million views as of this writing.

The lipsticks have puny etched veins and come in assorted colors, ranging from bloody red, flashy pink, magenta and pale brown.

According to several feedbacks from Amazon, the lipsticks were a “good buy” because of the unique design and smooth texture. “I thought long and hard before deciding to order these lipsticks. I’m glad I did, as purchasing these turned out to be a rock solid choice,” one user commented.

Yet, there were some customers who grumbled upon receiving their shipped package. Some of the lipsticks in the set were squashed, their shapes deformed. “The lipsticks are squashed against the top of [the] cover….just a waste of money,” one user said.

A set of 12 lipsticks is sold at Amazon for $15.50 (P740) and also on Etsy.  Gianna Francesca Catolico
