New Zealand scholarship opportunity for young ASEAN leaders

Victoria University of Wellington is pleased to announce that five undergraduate scholarships are available to students from the Association of the Southeast Asian Nations (Asean) region for study in 2017. Victoria is looking forward to receiving quality applications from the Philippines.

“The bond between Victoria University of Wellington and the ASEAN region has grown over many years and Victoria is proud to once again offer the ASEAN Undergraduate Tuition Fees Scholarships,”  Director of Victoria International, Julia Innocente-Jones said.  “The purpose of the scholarship is to promote educational opportunities for young ASEAN students who have an excellent academic record and leadership potential.”

The ASEAN Undergraduate Tuition Fees scholarship is open to students from the ASEAN region and covers the tuition fees for the first year of study for an undergraduate degree commencing in 2017. Applicants must be under the age of 23 on 31 December 2016 and students must begin their study at Victoria in either Trimester 1 or Trimester 2, 2017.
