ANDREW Tan, Mark Coleen Elic, Paulo Amparo and Marilou Solano recently held the group exhibit “Rabbit Hole,” at Village Art Gallery in Ayala Town Center in Muntinlupa City.
The exhibit featured an inter-mixture of works that comprised each artist’s distinct approach in art, unraveling deep emotions that came with it.
Zaballero at Shang Makati
Hiraya Gallery presents paintings by Phyllis Zaballero in the exhibit “Matisse and Bonnard Along the Strand.” It runs until Oct. 4 at the Mezzanine of Makati Shangri-La Hotel.
Zaballero makes use of the emulsion-transfer technique, conflating the familiar images of the two masters, bisecting the space with artful lines that echo her own curvilinear style.
The Philippine Educational Theater Association (Peta) will mount the musical, “Ako si Josephine,” starting Oct. 1. The musical features the songs of Yeng Constantino and is set in a music utopia where love songs are not allowed.
