Boost to a healthy wireless lifestyle

BANISH your worries about snagging a cable when running, or dealing with a tangle or two when on the move.

Motorola VerveLife, a new line of wearable accessories, is designed with the fitness buff in mind. Made by the multiaward-winning British company Binatone—the Motorola name is just a licensing deal—VerveLife’s wireless earbuds suit a lifestyle on the go.

VerveLife is all about going wireless, and delivering the best possible audio—HD in some models—to pump up your workouts, said its drumbeaters.

“We see a completely wireless future,” said Joey Cheung, Binatone sales director for Southeast Asia. “We see a future in which wireless technology is there to support us when we need it, and remains invisible, so we can enjoy the world for what it is.”

The earbuds connect to any phone via Bluetooth. In the case of Verve Ones, for example, all you need to do is stick them in your ears, sync it with your phone, and you’re good to go.

There are sensors on each earbud recognize. Once snug in the ears, they automatically pair with another and with the sensors on the phone. Secure your phone in your pocket, arm pouch, or whatever it is you use to keep them with you while you run, for example, and you can listen to your high-energy playlist while running sans the cables.

In other words, what VerveLife offers is freedom—the freedom from troublesome cables and the freedom to enjoy your workout.

There are six sets of rubber ear tips, so you need not worry about getting that perfect fit.

“You are unplugged, but still connected,” Cheung said.

“We’re moving toward a wireless age, and we recognize that nobody wants to be physically restricted,” said Digits CEO Charles Paw, local distributor of Motorola VerveLife.

There’s the Verve Rider and Verve Rider + (waterproof), with rich HD sound and up to 12 hours playtime; Verve Loop +, sweat and waterproof, with a loop cable that goes around the back of the neck, ideal for those who feel the need for both earbuds to be physically connected; and futuristic Verve Ones and Verve Ones + (waterproof), earbuds that you just need to stick into your ears.

“I’ve joined 10k runs using the Verve Ones +, and none of them has ever fallen off my ears,” said Cheung.
