Tandems ’91 wants you to contribute to their upcoming album

By Celene Sakurako

Aaron Cruz (vocalx), JR Jader (percussions), and Ignacio “Nacho” Cuyegkeng (keys) of electro-funk trio Tandems ‘91 have been playing tunes like “Kids,” “Something About You,” and “At Last,” that have gotten us dancing for quite a while now. Three years, to be exact. This Saturday, Sept. 30, at Dulo MNL, they’re finally taking a step forward into giving a physical home to their songs with the sixth installment of The Polaris Project’s The Crowdfunding Sessions. They’re asking for you to fund their much-awaited upcoming album by throwing a gig with friends Asch, MOONWLK, and Pillow Talk with the entrance of P250 (with a free drink). Rumors are, they’re going to be giving away copies of their First and Last album at the affair.

The Crowdfunding Sessions: Tandems ‘91 will be held on Sept. 30 (Sat) from 9pm at Dulo MNL, 4492 P. Guanzon St. Barangay Poblacion. Tickets are P250 (with a free drink) at the door.
