Today, Oct. 12, versatile crooner Arthur Manuntag will be performing at Emilio Mina’s Caruso Ristorante Italiano with a repertoire identified with the likes of Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Matt Monro, Sammy Davis Jr., among others.

Few singers in the Philippines, and even on the world stage, can perform such a repertoire.

Emilio Mina of Caruso is hosting the evening. He is also preparing an excellent menu, accompanied by the best Italian wines.

In keeping with the winning formula, he is bringing together fine music and gourmet food.

Minaís most recent event featured Andrea Bocelli; he has also hosted Elena Monti from Milan’s La Scala opera house, and maestro Gianpaolo Raboni.

More surprises are being planned in the coming months.

Manuntag, who was born in Manila, first gained attention as a member of the band Second Wind.

He has since been known as a versatile solo singer at home with standards or contemporary music.

Recently he joined an international cast of singers that paid tribute to Sinatra in the Czech Republic.

He was part of a traveling troupe that performed in concerts in several Czech cities including Brno, Ostrava, Moravia and Jablonec.
