“Open your world.”

Celebrities from such disparate fields as show business and the arts, communications media, sports and big business did just that recently as they welcomed Heineken, reputed as the world’s no. 1 premium beer, in a gustatory and audiovisual event.

The occasion was the recent launch of Heineken at World Trade Center in Pasay featuring bar setups from famous locations around the world such as Amsterdam, Tokyo, New York, Rio de Janeiro and Ibiza.

Guests got a first-hand experience of what it’s like to enjoy ice-cold Heineken beer in one of these cities, even as they enjoyed top-of-the line entertainment and mouth-food representing each location.

They were joined by executives and staff of Asia Brewery Heineken Philippines (ABHP).

To welcome guests were Cyril Charzat, ABHP managing director, and Michael Tan, Asia Brewery chief operating officer.

Heineken was first brewed in Amsterdam in 1864. The Heineken brand, as we know it today, was born nine years later in 1873 and has since expanded its presence to 192 countries.
