Pinoy chef wins food competition in Singapore

Filipino chef Anton Amoncio has just been declared winner of the “Food Hero Asia” competition in Singapore.

Amoncio bested two other finalists from Malaysia and one finalist from Thailand.

As winner, Amoncio will join Scripps Network Interactive as the newest talent on its programs on the Asian Food Channel and Food Network.

For the final event in Singapore, Amoncio prepared Cheesy Lamb Rack Kaldereta using New Zealand lamb.

He is chef-owner of a restaurant in Manila.
