The Zonta Club of Makati and Environs (ZCME) brings back the Filipinaz Fair 2016 on Nov.  4-6,  from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.,  at SMX Convention Center at SM Aura Premier.

 

The bazaar has  been known as one of the most well-curated shopping festivals in the country, and will showcase products such as furniture, home/Christmas decor, haute couture and accessories from 100 exhibitors.

 

Among the finds are fashion jewelry by Mila Imson’s Kit Silver, All That Glitters, Calima Jewelry  and Eccentrics. There are soft bags by Threads and Trends, indigenous shawls, ponchos and tunics by Iloilo’s Tinukib Foundation, clutches and totes by John Carlo, crochet bags by Yvettes Collection, bags in indigenous materials by Decena Collection, and finely crafted tunics by Unic Tunic.

 

One of the highlights of the fair will be the Christmas Village in a festive Filipino setting, with a group of Christmas décor exhibitors, together with exhibitors for regional food  and drinks.

 

The Filipinaz Fair2016   is the only bazaar created by women specifically for women’s advocacies. All proceeds will be used to further the many women-empowering projects of the club. Among ZCME’s programs are the Psychological Center in Marillac Hills for  sexually abused children; the Empowering Women Scholarship Program;  and the No to Early Marriage and Teenage Pregnancy Advocacy.

 

The Filipinaz Fair 2016 is the only bazaar created by women specifically forwomen’s advocacies. The fair’s proceeds will be used to push the many women-empowering projects of the club. The dynamic women behind the bazaar : Cora Tan, Zonta ClubMakati president Armita Rufino, Jenny Leviste; standing are Charming Baldemor, Jeannie Abaya, chair Maritess Pineda, Melanie de Leon.

 

The club’s HNH (Health, Nutrition and Hygiene) Program is a six-month initiative that creates supplemental feeding programs for malnourished children. Kababaihan is a holistic program for women that aims to transform individual through values formation and spirituality.

 

The club also offers health services and livelihood programs for the marginalized communities in Makati and Taguig cities.
