Last-minute Halloween makeup looks that won’t cost you | Lifestyle.INQ

OCTOBER 27, 2022

You don’t need to have Paolo Ballesteros or Pat McGrath skills to conjure a Halloween makeup look, nor do you have to spend a ton on fancy special FX makeup. All you need are steady hands, maybe a couple of makeup-remover-soaked cotton swabs for erasing mistakes, and your existing makeup kit to whip up a couple of quick and dirty makeup looks.

Haute harlequin

Don’t be fooled by the colors that make this look complicated, it’s so doable that you’ll feel like you’re just clowning around (heh). Line your eyes with black eyeliner to make the neon colors stand out. Apply the neon shadows around your eyes to encircle the area completely. Draw the vertical lines using your black eyeliner and make the look more intense by throwing on a pair of false eyelashes. Make your base even more “clownish” by using a lighter shade of foundation than usual.

Web design

Drawing a spider- web on your eyes looks cool and intricate. The best part? It uses only one product—black eyeliner—which you can buy anywhere for P100 or less.

Plum goth

This is another one-product wonder look. Makeup artist Ara Fernando used a purple lipstick to rim the eye area and contour the cheeks for a Tim Burtonesque ghoulish look. Keep the creamy lipstick from running by setting it with your regular face powder.
