Everyone can be a photographer especially at this time of smartphones. Photographs are important not only for news and business, but also as a hobby that allows one to express oneself.
Zamora, a CPA-turned-award-winning photojournalist, notes that we are a visual society. More than ever, with social media being a part of our lives, photographs are so influential. Photography is a visual way of communicating and, for us to effectively communicate, learning the basics of photography is vital before we go into more advanced techniques.
Zamora will facilitate the third run of “Effective Photography: Enhancing Your Multimedia Presence” workshop, on Nov. 12 and 19, at the Inquirer Academy Bldg., Chino Roces Ave. cor. Ponte St., Makati City.
Zamora’s work has been cited by the Catholic Mass Media Awards.
He believes that the principles of photojournalism can be applied to visual storytelling to promote brands, people, events and products.
The workshop held by Inquirer Academy is designed for marketing and communications professionals. It is for hobbyists and online celebrities as well.
The workshop will not only teach the technical side of photography but also how it can be used in different platforms to communicate a message.
