The Circuit Makati Christmas Bazaar on Nov. 18-20 will feature six Christmas villages with over 500 merchants offering gift items, clothes, accessories, knickknacks, electronics, toys and food.

 

Ayala Land is also lining up exciting activities and entertainment for the family.

 

At Star Avenue, the likes of Shaina Magdayao, Miriam Quiambao, Gretchen Fullido, Christine Babao, LJ Moreno Alapag, Nikki Valdez and Maria Isabel Lopez with her daughter, Mara Lopez, will offer their own products and preloved items.

 

There’s also Mommy’s Best by Project Mom, headed by Amanda Griffin and Bianca Araneta-Elizalde, with amazing brands, products and services that cater to moms, kids, babies, homes and families.

 

Lil’ Preneur by HedCen will display goodies for grade school to high school students.

 

There will likewise be storytelling session, musical performances, and the grand spectacle of Christmas Around the World.

 

Millennial Spot will feature Dani Barretto, Mikyle Quizon and Mikki Galang from Karl Edwards and Kaizen Events Inc.

 

Fit & Fab by Hunt & Gather is a village teeming with organic, sports, wellness and lifestyle items.

 

Mercato Centrale will have home-cooked dishes and desserts by Metro Manila’s food entrepreneurs.

 

Circuit Makati Bazaar 2016 is copresented by MasterCard and HSBC. Raffle prizes, special gifts and more await all MasterCard and HSBC cardholders.

The Maya Kitchen presents chef Vicky Pacheco in the maiden installment of its Top Eats series on Nov. 5, 1 p.m.

 

Top Eats features new dining places. Pacheco—who owns Chateau 1771 and Sentro, as well as the newly opened Flatiron at Uptown Place Mall, Bonifacio Global City—will show how to make:

 

Flatiron Brisket 6, or fork-tender beef brisket slow-cooked for six hours in aromatics and served with sautéed brown and red rice and fresh cucumber-carrot slaw;

 

Chicken Piccata, thinly pounded breaded chicken breast fried in butter and tossed in lemon butter sauce, served with spaghettini;

 

Pizzaiola Pasta, bow-tie pasta, napolitaine sauce, bell peppers, salami and bacon covered with cheese and gratinated;

 

Pomelo Orzo Salad, lettuce, orzo pasta, pomelo, crumbled parmesan cheese, fried spinach with grilled lemon vinaigrette;

 

and Manhattan Seafood Chowder, tomato-based chowder with fresh fish chunks, shrimps, clams and bacon.
