London-based Sipsmith Independent Distillers has created the handcrafted Raffles 1915 Gin exclusively for Raffles hotels worldwide, and which is now being offered at the Long Bar at Raffles Makati.

 

The custom spirit was concocted to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Singapore Sling, a signature cocktail originating from the historic Raffles hotel in Singapore. A sensational balance of botanicals inspired by the Malayan peninsula makes up the flavors of Raffles 1915 Gin.

 

Savor elements of jasmine flowers, fresh pomelo peel, lemongrass, Kaffir lime leaf, nutmeg and cardamom when enjoying this bespoke concoction.

 

Expert mixologists have created five signature cocktails using the artisanal Raffles 1915 Gin. The whimsical, bubble gum-flavored South East Temptation is smoothly served on the rocks. Also served is the Jasmine, orange liquor infused with Dragon Pearl Jasmine tea, garnished with pineapple coco jam.

 

Cocktail connoisseurs may also enjoy a refreshing Smith Julep, a trio of orange, lemon, and honey black tea served in a classic beer mug.

 

Revel in a smoked grapefruit and rosemary concoction with the Garden Sling, which is luxuriously topped with edible gold flakes.

 

Completing the Raffles 1915 Gin cocktail series is the Pearl of the Orient Sling, a twist to the traditional Singapore Sling.
