One-day food seminar
The Golden Treasure Skills and Development Program will conduct a one-day seminar on meat and fish processing combined with ice cream making, Nov. 19, 10 a.m-6 p.m., UPIS (University of the Philippines Integrated School) Bldg, A. Maria Rigidor St. cor. Quirino Ave., UP Diliman, Quezon City.
Learn to make siomai, Japanese siomai, pork chicharon, chicken inasal, chicken and pork ham, lechon manok, tocino, different kinds of longganisa (skinless, Vigan, Lucban) bacon, Chinese sausage, Peking duck, embutido deluxe, pork kikiam, burger patties, beef tapa, fish ball, Spanish and tomato sardine, tinapa, tuyo, pork and bangus sisig, squid ball, corned beef, and chicken galantina.
As a bonus course, participants will also be taught fish deboning, how to make sauces for siomai, ice cream without using an ice cream maker and freezer.
Participants will receive a certificate of training right after the seminar.
There will be food tasting of the finished products, as well as lunch and snacks.

YSL photo exhibit
SM Malls, Alliance Française de Manille (AFM), and the Embassy of France in the Philippines present “Yves Saint Laurent: A Birth of a Legend,” a photographic exhibit of renowned French photographer Pierre Boulat.
The exhibit will run Nov. 14-20 at the Upper Ground Floor Atrium of SM Aura Premier, and Nov. 23-30 at the Mega Fashion Hall of SM Megamall.
AFM and the French Embassy are honored to partner with two of the most prestigious malls in the country, SM Aura Premier and SM Megamall, to present this unique touring exhibition featuring one of the most recognized French fashion designers in the world, Yves Saint Laurent.
