A mainstay of Inquirer Lifestyle’s To Be You section for the last couple of years is Street Style—Filipino youth making their personal fashion statements in #OOTD shots.
The colorful, creative and liberating ways that today’s youth express themselves through dressing prompted us to compile their images in a book that hopefully inspires readers to experiment with their own looks and embrace new colors, cuts and accessories.
It’s a true labor of love and a testament to what the section stands for: Don’t be afraid to be you, because it’s awesome to be you.
Shot by To Be You’s original Street Style photographer Ronan Capili, the picture-heavy book is divided according to trends—bohemian, urban and goth, to name a few. There’s even a chapter dedicated to sneaker heads.
The To Be You “Street Style” book is available in all National Book Store, PowerBooks and Fully Booked outlets for P250.
Follow our section and social media sites and get a chance to be invited to the book launch on Dec. 10 at the Samsung Hall in SM Aura, Taguig.
