“Blown-Away: The Allure of Blown Glass Art” presents of the works of Czech glass artist Jirí Pacinek at the Reflections Gallery of Museo Orlina.
The exhibit is co-presented by the Embassy of the Czech Republic.
Pacinek will give a lecture-demonstration at Museo Orlina, Nov. 18, 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., for art practitioners; Nov. 19, 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., for students; and Nov. 18, 2 p.m. for invited guests attending the formal opening of the exhibit at 3:30 p.m., to be officiated by the Czech Ambassador Jaroslav Olša Jr.
Czech glass, also known as Bohemian glass, has a centuries-long history of being internationally recognized for its high quality, craftsmanship, beauty and innovative design design.
