Fans of British superstar band Coldplay couldn’t contain their excitement when the group’s official website coldplay.com uploaded a teaser video at around 8:30 p.m.Manila time on Monday, Nov. 14, containing what apparently looked like new stops of its ongoing “Head Full of Dreams” world tour.

The video initially shows a graphic image of the year 2017, with the “0” in the form of a multicoloured hot air balloon. And then it flashes, in split-second order, shots of a number of maps of countries, including that of the Philippines.

There is much anticipation among Coldplay’s Filipino fans on the exact date of its concert in the country, which has been hinted at, during a live streaming broadcast of its show on Aug. 21 at the Rose Bowl stadium in Pasadena, Los Angeles, when the band’s frontman Chris Martin gave a shoutout to the Philippines.

At 9:52 p.m. the video had garnered more than 685,000 views, 51,000 reactions, and more than 11,000 shares.
