The luxury department store’s holiday décor theme spans the traditional—Santa Claus, red and gold, Nativity scenes, Christmas village, nature—and contemporary styles, like denim blues.
If you liked last year’s Winter Wonderland theme, you can still find remnants of it in the store.
Discover your theme based on your tastes and personalities, advises Marilen Tantoco, VP for home merchandising and buying division.
“This is why we offer so many themes because of the diversity of all of the personalities of our customers,” she says. “We feel that you can always adapt these looks in any home.”
“Every year,” she adds, “buy a long-lasting, meaningful collection to add to your decor. This gets multiplied and you can mix and match for the Christmases to come.”
Inserting fresh leaves that smell of pine into your Christmas tree will give the aroma of Christmas for a full sensory experience in your home, Tantoco says. To match your décor, she suggests adding fresh floral arrangements around the house.
Condo dwellers can go for a slimmer tree or a theme that does not necessarily have large ornaments, she adds.
“The newer decor we have this year (Winter Mint, Botanical and Denim Blue) are good choices for condo dwellers,” she says. “They are on the softer shades and more neutral palettes, which are good for smaller spaces. The Botanical theme can even bring the feeling of the outdoors into your home.”
