Southern Living magazine held its Southern Discoveries fair recently at Rockwell Primaries’ East Bay Residences.

 

Families and guests feasted on Cuban sandwiches from Pepi Cubano, tacos and nachos from Birdmen, Indian delights from House of Curry, decadent desserts from Cravings and Dairy Frost, healthy options from Down to Earth, coffee from Bicicliteria and modern Filipino grub from Soil.

 

Pepita’s Kitchen’ offered its signature Lechon de Leche with truffle rice. An ice cream cart of favorite Pinoy flavors was a particular hit among kids.

 

Later in the night, guests heard the jazz tunes of saxophonist Vince Lahorra. Street artist Rai Cruz conducted a live painting session of the southern skyline.
